Soil moisture data capture for precision agriculture

Soil moisture sensors are sensors that are able to sense the amount of moisture in the soil. By knowing the amount of moisture, we can translate the digital and analog data into a human language, to know whether the plants need more water or not.

The solution was to provide telemetry from soil moisture probes that included measurements at various depths to form a soil moisture profile.  All this information had to be stored, processed and represented as trend curves for decision making in a web system.
